Kelce, 36, is a famous fan of flip-flops. So it made sense for fans to tag him after a Swiftie posted a photo of the singer, 34, wearing her own sandals with a long black maxi skirt and black top.
“She's not wearing flip flops in this pic 😭,” the original poster captioned the snap through X on Saturday, April 20. Swift had style Joseph Cassel for her TTPD photo shoot, captured by a photographer Beth Garrabrant.
Another fan captioned the post on Sunday, April 21, adding, “oh what did you do @JasonKelce?!”

The retired footballer liked the post, which isn't surprising considering how much he loves comfortable shoes. In a November 2023 episode of his podcast, “New Heights,” his brother Jason Travis Kelce — who is dating Swift — teased him about wearing flip-flops before their teams played each other on Nov. 20.
“I wear flip-flops all the time,” Jason, who is retired from the NFL, told Travis, 34. “I don't even know why this is remarkable. It's my passion.”

She added, “I don't like bending over to put on socks. It's easier to just drag the puppies to them and head out the door. I'm out for 10 seconds at most.”
Jason couldn't understand the furor over his warm weather shoes. “People say, 'How could you survive out there in the cold?' I say, “Ma'am, I was in a hotel. I got on a bus. You think I'm rocking Kansas City in flip-flops?! No!' If I did that, I wouldn't be wearing flip flops,” she said as Travis laughed.
“So you didn't even pick up a pair of shoes?” Travis asked, to which Jason replied, “No. I pack light. I got a toiletry bag [and] sleep shorts”.
Jason even wore his favorite sandals to the red carpet premiere of the Prime Video documentary Kelce in September 2023 — but he wasn't necessarily planning on being so casual.
Travis hilariously trolled Jason for wearing shorts and flip-flops to the premiere during a fall episode of their podcast. “You really dressed up,” Travis quipped.

Jason explained that he was going to wear jeans, but a woman Kylie Kelce he was “late” and “forgot” his pants at home.
“Why didn't Jason bring jeans for Jason?” Travis asked.
“Because I was at soccer and I needed the jeans for after soccer,” Jason said. “I'm not going to wear jeans all day. That doesn't sound fun. Now I realize I probably can't blame Kylie for that. Yes, I wore shorts and sandals.”
The then-Eagles center admitted that as a mum to their three children, Kylie may have had some more pressing duties ahead of the big night. “She was too busy getting the whole family set up with the babysitter and then getting ready and making sure her parents were with her,” Jason said.
